Who benefits and attends?

Anyone who currently suffers from any chronic disease including - obesity, joint pain, arthritis, sleep apnea, asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes, fibromyalgia, back pain, cancer, hypothyroidism, CAD, PCOS and COPD to name a few.

How do I get started?

  1. Talk to your doctor or call us and we will call your doctor. With your physician’s referral, your sessions are likely to be covered by your health insurance.

  2. At your first visit, we’ll conduct a physical/functional evaluation to assess your strength, endurance, balance, and function. Then we will identify goals together. Your therapist will then establish a customized treatment plan for you!

  3. This is the fun part! You will meet with an Occupational Therapist or a Physical Therapist for one-on-one sessions two to three times a week for six to 12 weeks. We will motivate you to change the way you eat, the way you move, and help you with the mental strategies to maintain these lifestyle changes. The exercise will be efficient, effective and appropriate for your level of fitness because you are working with a health care/rehabilitation professional. We will teach you behavioral strategies and habit-changing techniques. We will focus on each individual’s motivations, routines, habits and environment. The ultimate goal is to EMPOWER and MOTIVATE you during this very important journey in your life.

How much does the program cost?

This program is billable to your health insurance with a referral from your doctor. Although there is no guarantee of payment by your insurance company, will will verify your costs prior to your first visit. The program cost includes evaluations, reports to your physician, treatment plan to fit your abilities, and 2-3 visits per week with one of our therapists.

What do I need to wear?

Comfortable clothes to move in and a pair of athletic shoes. We provide everything else.
