WHAT IS A TRAINED LIFESTYLE INTERVENTIONIST?
Typically a “Trained Interventionist” is a healthcare professional with specialized training in treating patients with chronic diseases such as heart disease, obesity, diabetes, arthritis, joint pain, sleep apnea, fibromyalgia, mental health disorders, etc….
These diseases compromise our ability to perform daily tasks of self care, work, sleeping, walking, climbing a flight of stairs, getting up off the floor, or kneeling in church, etc.

WHY OCCUPATIONAL & PHYSICAL THERAPY
Our network of Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists are trained interventionists specializing in treating chronic disease and improving their client’s ability to regain a healthier, enjoyable, and productive life!
OT’s and PT’s are licensed medical professionals with a strong expertise in recovery/rehabilitation from catastrophic illness, injury and disease.
OT’s and PT’s have the advantage of medical insurance covering their services, unlike many other “trained interventionists”. This allows the clients to get the maximum benefit from their frequent visits covered by insurance.
OT’s and PT’s have a strong educational background of pathology, pathophysiology, psychology, neurology, and neuroanatomy as it relates to anatomy, movement and functional abilities.
Occupational and Physical Therapists have strong communication skills to motivate their clients to challenge themselves!
Occupational and Physical Therapists help to develop solutions and interventions to improve endurance, strength, flexibility, and balance to better perform our daily living activities which results in a more enjoyable, productive, and healthier life!
